For all the dry skin sufferers out there, this can be a tricky time of year. So, I did a little bit of research so I could share with you some product recommendations to keep your skin feeling moisturised year-round.
First up: Cleansing
Check out this one by Sanctuary Spa Radiance Exfoliator
It contains essential oils and exfoliates the skin, so I’d recommend using this around 2-3 times a week to ensure you don’t dry out your skin even more!
Non exfoliating cleanser: Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter by The Body Shop
This cleanser is perfect for sensitive and dry skin types, helping to thoroughly remove makeup but also ensuring that it moisturises the skin too.
Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner
It gently tones and balances the PH of the skin without feeling too harsh, so again another great one for sensitive/drier skin types
Try the Lait Crème Nourishing Moisturiser by Embryolisse
My friend swears by this moisturiser! It’s so moisturising and really helps her dry skin,but doesn’t feel too heavy! It’s also very luxurious feeling and leaves the skin looking dewy and fresh, and also acts as a great makeup primer.
From research, the most common advice I receive for dry skin is to make sure you always use oils!
An easy, multi-purpose one to use is the well-known Bio Oil. This helps to moisturise and heal the skin.
