Ingredient Technology
This formula contains a quadruple-clay blend for intensive oil control. Bentonite, Kaolin, Montmorillonite and Illite clays work together to extract impurities from within pores and regulate sebum production. This mask also uses Activated Charcoal; a more porous form of charcoal to act like an absorbent sponge, removing greasiness and shine from the surface of the skin to leave the complexion mattified. Simultaneously, this mask uses a treatment of Salicylic Acid BHA which controls oil production at a deeper level, by penetrating into the skin’s layers and dissolving blockages of sebum and dead skin. The added Witch Hazel produces ‘astringent’ benefits by contracting skin tissues to minimise pores, resulting in reduced oil production from the sebaceous glands.
