What is Tone Correct Cloud Wash?
We finally have a Turmeric Face Wash - phew! Our new foaming cleanser has a lightweight, mousse texture (just like a cloud ☁️), which deeply cleanses without stripping the skin. It’s packed with skin superfoods like saffron, blueberry, green tea, and liquorice root.
Why foam?
Foam is significantly lighter than gel or oil-based cleansers, meaning that it can penetrate pores easily to rid them of excess oil and dirt. More importantly, who doesn’t want to cleanse their face with a cloud?
Foaming myths
Previously, foaming cleansers have been given a bad rep for stripping the skin of moisture - this is due to the belief that they all contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. SLS is a foaming agent found in many products - from cleaning supplies to skincare - and can be pretty drying on the skin. For this reason, foaming face washes are usually targeted at oily and acne-prone skin.
Dry skin, do not fear! Our Tone Correct Cloud Wash has all the benefits of a foaming cleanser without containing SLS. Formulated with natural foaming agents derived from coconuts (Sodium Methyl 2-Sulfolaurate and Disodium 2-Sulfolaurate), these ingredients are gentle, non-drying and work to protect moisture levels.
What is Tone Correct Night Cream?
The final step in your turmeric-fuelled routine! Our new Night Cream contains Turmeric Root and Vitamin C to brighten your skin & leave you with an even complexion. Formulated with active ingredients such as Retinol, Lactic Acid and Alpha Arbutin 2% to renew the skin and leave you glowing.
How do they correct skin tone?
Let’s breakdown the key ingredients in our new duo which correct tone in the skin:
- Turmeric Root: The miracle ingredient we all know and love. Turmeric’s natural brightening properties work to fade dark spots and areas of hyperpigmentation.
- Alpha Arbutin 2%: This active inhibits the enzyme ‘tyrosinase’ which is key in the skin’s melanin production, reducing any discolouration in the skin.
- Saffron: Packed full of antioxidants & vitamin C, saffron brightens skin tone and reduces dark spots.
- Lactic Acid: A gentle Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) which exfoliates the skin. This helps to lighten discoloration by sloughing off dead skin cells
